Sorin has served as CITO of Gulf Oil LP from 2006 - 2009. He has over 15 years of experience in the IT and IT Management field. He has held IT positions at various companies including New York University - Stern School of Business, I/B/E/S International, and Louis Dreyfus Corporation. While at I/B/E/S, Sorin served as a Network Administrator maintaining the global network.
In 1995, he joined Louis Dreyfus Corporation and was instrumental in the design and implementation of the global messaging network and various development projects. In 2003 he founded Global Technology Solutions as an IT consulting firm focusing in the Commodity Trading and Energy space. In September 2005, Sorin started working with Gulf Oil LP in a consultant capacity until he transitioned to a full-time employee.
Sorin graduated from New York University and holds a BA in Computer Science.
