Robert has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer since January 1, 2009. In this capacity, he has overall responsibility for supply and price risk management activities. After joining Gulf in October, 2005 Robert held positions as Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Risk Officer and Company Secretary. Prior to joining Gulf, Robert spent 30 years in senior commodity and price risk management roles as both an advisor, trader, and a senior manager. At Louis Dreyfus Corporation where he spent 19 years, he built Dreyfus's meat trading and livestock feeding operations into one of the largest of its kind in the world. Robert holds a Sc. B degree in Economics from Brown University and an MBA degree from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration. He also served five years in the Navy after graduation from Brown.
