Mr. Raymond F. Leather, P.O.E., P.E., L.S.P., Vice President of Environmental Affairs for the Cumberland Gulf Group of Companies in Framingham, MA. Mr. Leather is responsible for environmental compliance including emergency response, site assessment and remediation for approximately 1,000 retail gasoline dispensing facilities and twelve light product distribution terminals. Mr. Leather has worked in the petroleum engineering, distribution, assessment, remediation, and compliance field since 1974 and has participated as a member of API and state regulatory committees. He is currently Chair of the Board of Directors of the Independent Oil Marketers Association of New England and member of the Superfund Advisory Committee for the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection. He has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Merrimack College, an M.S. in Energy Management & Power from the University of Pennsylvania where he was a National Science Foundation Fellow; and, an M.B.A. from the University of Houston. He is a Registered Petroleum Operations Engineer, a Registered Professional Engineer, a Licensed Site Professional in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and a Registered Environmental Assessor I in California.
