Howard has spent almost his entire professional career within the Cumberland Farms/Gulf Oil family working in various financial roles over the years. His roles in the past have included Tax Manager, Director of Tax, Treasurer, and V.P. Tax and Treasury Services. In each role he has led his teams to process automation, financial exposure mitigation, and attainment of best practices while nurturing a cooperative and team focused working environment.
Howard was named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Cumberland Gulf Group in July of 2010 where he oversees the financial operations of the group. In this capacity he leverages his many years of experience, and lessons learned, in the wholesale (Gulf) and retail (Cumberland Farms) sectors, while working closely with all financial related departments and counterparties.
Howard holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, as well as an MBA from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
